Associated Builders, Inc. completed a comprehensive interior renovation of USI Insurance Inc.'s office within the Ingleside Professional Center located at 36 Bobala Road in Holyoke, MA. The 6,903 square foot project began with a full interior demolition, stripping the space to its shell before rebuilding to suit the tenant's modern workplace needs.

The new build-out includes an open office environment with twenty individual workstations and twenty private offices, along with a welcoming reception area anchored by a full-glass storefront entry system. The program also includes a break room with custom cabinetry and solid-surface and quartz countertops, a dedicated wellness room, an IT room, a Secure Check Print room, and a Copy/Mail room. A large conference room was outfitted with dual media walls and in-floor power/data boxes to support flexible presentation and meeting technology.

Throughout the space, Associated Builders installed all new walls, doors, and hardware — including stained wood doors with glass sidelights and full-glass conference room fronts — along with new suspended ceilings, insulation, and finishes selected to create a cohesive, professional aesthetic. Interior glazing received a combination of 3M privacy film and distraction-stripe film to balance transparency with code-compliant safety markings, and the client's branding was incorporated through custom logo film at the main entry.

On the systems side, the scope included a complete electrical upgrade with new underground service and relocated panels, along with Design-Build HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection — coordinated closely with the trade contractors to accommodate new under-slab utility routing throughout the space.

The result is a modern, functional headquarters space that reflects the client's brand and supports their day-to-day operations.
